Muchos ajedrecistas han oído hablar de la Revista ChessBase Magazine, pero no todos realmente tienen una idea exacta sobre su contenido y utilidades.
Para intentar conseguir este objetivo y mantener informado al ajedrecista interesado por las nuevas tecnologías redactamos el presente artículo, en el que tomamos como base el Nº 79. (Diciembre).GeneralidadesAntes de profundizar en su contenido, podemos afirmar sin miedo a equivocarnos que la Revista ChessBase Magazine es probablemente el mejor producto editorial que existe en el mercado ajedrecístico para mantenerse actualizado sobre novedades ajedrecistas, con abundante material de entrenamiento en todas las facetas del juego, como táctica, estrategia, y finales y partidas comentadas con buen seguimiento del mundo ajedrecístico.
Su edición bimestral (cada dos meses), no permite un seguimiento de la actualidad al día, pero en cambio permite un análisis más pormenorizado de los eventos acontecidos y por tanto es un producto que no reemplaza sino que complementa a las revistas tradicionales que tengan una periodicidad quincenal o mensual, y sobre todo a las revistas que se emiten en Webs con una información completamente actualizada, en la mayoría de los casos diariamente.
